Dr. Bhavana Rai is an eminent Economist, dynamic and results-oriented professional with over 14 years of experience in economic and business research, government liaison, policy analysis, and knowledge dissemination. She has played a pivotal role in policy formulation, ministerial correspondence, industry-focused research, and international trade–related studies. With a strong academic foundation, Dr. Rai has previously been associated with reputed institutions such as ASSOCHAM, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Institute of Economic Growth. She generally shares her perceptive on contemporary economic and trade related issues. She is a regular contributor on public and academic platforms as an Economist and subject expert including Akashvani, Sansad TV, Bharat TV, and leading academic institutions such as Amity University and Jaipuria Institute of Management. Currently, Dr. Rai serves as Joint Director at the FHRAI Centre of Excellence for Research in Tourism and Hospitality (CERTH), where she leads and contributes to thematic research, policy reports, and analytical studies on the tourism and hospitality sector, with a particular focus on contemporary industry challenges and emerging trends.
