However, the U-11 team faced a heart-wrenching 3-0 loss in the final, leaving players, parents, and coaches in an emotional moment.

Despite the defeat, the U-11 squad, including standout players Timothy (Captain), Ryan (Stopper), Marwin (Striker), Vedansh (Defensive Midfielder), John (Winger), Joshua (Goalkeeper), Rishaan, and Aalen (who received medical treatment), Tanmay priyadarshi (right back) displayed exceptional mentality, discipline, and hard work.

Their performance was lauded for its positivity and effort, even in the face of adversity.

Reflecting on the U-11 final, the academy noted that the team’s potential to become champions was hindered by challenges in team organization and coaching strategy.

“The reason we didn’t win the U-11 Blue Cup was that the coach couldn’t effectively organize the team and players for the championship,” said a statement released outsourcing coach Pauthin Mawi.

Nevertheless, the team remains optimistic with plans to intensify training and return stronger next season, he said.

“We keep hope and confidence in each other and have a plan to train harder,” he added.

Bethal Football Academy expressed gratitude for the U-11, U 10 team’s first and second runner-up finishes, the U-8 team’s championship victory, and the overall spirit of their players.

The tournament was a testament to the academy’s commitment to nurturing young talent, with the promise of a brighter future in the next Blue Cup.
