The chief ministers and deputy chief ministers of the NDA-ruled states will participate in a day-long brainstorming on good governance issues on Sunday, the BJP said.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will preside over the meeting which will be attended by BJP President J P Nadda, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Home Minister Amit Shah as well, the party’s good governance department in-charge Vinay Sahasrabuddhe said on Saturday. 

“In all, about 20 chief ministers and 18 deputy chief ministers belonging to all 20 state governments ruled by the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will be participating in the day-long brainstorming on good governance issues tomorrow in the capital,” he said. 

Sahasrabuddhe said the meeting, to be coordinated by the BJP good governance department, will also pass two resolutions. 

“While the first one will be to congratulate Indian defence forces and the PM for the success of Operation Sindoor. In yet another resolution, the NDA CM conclave will congratulate the central government for its decision to conduct caste enumeration at the time of ensuing census,” he said. 

A significant part of deliberations at the conclave will be devoted for the discussion on best practices by different NDA-ruled state governments, the BJP leader said. 

“Respective state CMs will be making presentations on their initiatives,” he said. The meeting will also deliberate upon forthcoming events like the first anniversary of the NDA government, completion of a decade of International Yoga Day and 50th Loktantra Hatya Diwas which is the 50th anniversary of the imposition of Emergency, the BJP leader added.
